Oasis Counselling Service has been serving the community in Ballyfermot and beyond for over 20 years. The service is currently winding down and will close on the 8th December 2016. This is due to a number of reasons:
The retirement of the Founder and Manager.
Unsustainable ongoing funding to meet the demands of the service.
A desire to see other smaller services planted around Dublin.
Over the past 20 years - over 150 people have volunteered in the service and many many people have been empowered to recover, discover new ways of thinking and grow into the person they wish to be. We want to thank everyone who has been a part of Oasis - our clients, our staff and our funders who have supported us over the years.
